The duty day will promptly begin at 0600 and end approximately 1800 for all four (4) days. All Airmen Engineers are required to check in with our Unit Control Center (UCC) immediately upon arrival of each day. The 113th Force Support Squadron will be employing the Disaster Relief Mobile Kitchen Trailer (DRMKT) to provide meals for breakfast and lunch. Any Airman Engineer on Active Guard Reserve (AGR) or Full Time National Guard Duty (FTNGD) orders will need to pay (more information to follow).

*DO NOT FORGET TO BRING YOUR C-BAG.*

GENERAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The term participant encompasses several groups of people, not just those playing in this training event. Groups of participants involved and their respective roles and responsibilities are as follows:

PLAYER. An Airman who is directly impacted by the Master Scenario Events List (MSEL) event desired learning objective and observed by a Wing Inspection Team (WIT) controller.

WIT CONTROLLER. A WIT Controller directs the pace of the injects, offers key data to players, provides feedback/training on the respective functional area, and may prompt or initiate certain player actions to ensure the desired learning objectives are accomplished. In addition, they monitor the training event timeline and supervise the safety of all participants.

SUPPORT STAFF. The training event support staff includes individuals who perform administrative and logistical support tasks during the training, e.g., runners.

WHITE CELL. The White Cell is the notional overarching command and control to execute the MSEL during the training event. The MSEL outlines benchmarks and injects which drive training play. It also details realistic input to players, as well as information expected from simulated organizations.

TRUSTED AGENT. A participant who safeguards the trigger injects or no-notice aspect of a MSEL event.

OBSERVERS. Observers visit or view selected segments of the training event. Observers do not participate in the training and will not obstruct/disturb any MSEL event.

INFORMATION AND GUIDANCE

EXERCISE RULES. The following rules manage training play:

PLAYER INSTRUCTIONS. Players will follow guidelines before, during, and after the training to ensure a safe and effective event.

Before the Event:

During the Event:

SIMULATION GUIDELINE. Due to limited resources, duration, scope of the event and weather conditions, certain injects will be simulated.

SAFETY FIRST, SAFETY ALWAYS

Every participant safety takes utmost priority over the training events. The following general requirements apply to this event:

FIRE SAFETY. Standard fire and safety regulations relevant to the training location will be followed during the exercise. Note, aggregated response time on Joint Base Andrews is approximately 12 minutes.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES. If emergency medical services are required during the exercise, CALL 301.981.9911, DSN 981.9911.

SECURITY. To prevent interruption of the training event, designated play areas are restricted to approved participants and observers. Players will notify a WIT Controller of any unauthorized persons. All players are responsible to maintain accountability and secure their respective equipment before, during, and after PAUSE-EX/ENDEX. Sensitive equipment will not be left unattended.

COMMUNICATION PLAN

PLAYER COMMUNICATION. Training communication does not interfere with real-world emergency communications. All player/unit communication should follow the appropriate flow of C2 just as they would during a real-world event/scenario, e.g., event reports to/from BDOC, UCC/GCC, EOC, CAT.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUCEMENTS. 113 WG/PA is responsible for coordinating and disseminating public information before, during, and after the training event (dependent on the Exercise Director requirements). No social media releases are allowed without the express permission of the Exercise Director.
